Subliflower Color Calibration for Sublimation

The "Subliflower" Color Calibration Design

Use my Subliflower design to see how true to color your sublimation printer is printing. The file below unzips to folder that contains PNGs, PDFs, and a SVG. I recommend you use one of the PNGs for the best results. There are two PNGs to choose from -- one is labelled with color hex codes so you can reproduce colors exactly once you know how your printer prints them, and one is unlabelled if you just want to print a pretty and colorful flower. The SVG is provided if you want to use it to cut MDF as I did in my tests.

If you're not quite sure what to do, I recommend you print the labelled Subliflower PNG from a program that can open and print PNGs, and be sure to use any printer profile you may have installed. An easy way to do this is to simply use Google Docs. Here is a ready-to-go Google Doc with the Subliflower so you can print it right now.

If you'd like to see how I used the Subliflower to compare the color on my sublimation videos, here's a clip of me looking at LOTS of Subliflowers that I printed and pressed to really hone in on the best color.
